For the first flower, I created each petal separately by using both types of anchor points and some keyboard shortcuts.
For the second one, I copied, then transformed each one to pull it into place. I highly recommend the second option. :)
I then added a blue background. Not perfect, but not bad for a first attempt!
I also realized I would like to learn how to add more detail and variation into my drawings.
